Milestone — 2021

The Solar Compression Power Station took first place in the Koriz Development Ideas Competition, held during Artsakh Tech Week and organized with the support of BANA and AGBU.

The competition brought together development-focused technology ideas from across the region, and the jury’s choice was a signal we have heard more than once since: a power plant that uses a mountain instead of building a tower is an idea people immediately understand — and immediately want to see built.

Koriz was the first of three national recognitions HOVAK Energy received in 2021, together with the EIF Best Tech Solutions award and the Buissup Global Forum award.
