Samvel turns terrain into data. He leads mapping, surveying, and geospatial analysis for HOVAK’s location-based work — the site screening that decides where a slope, a reservoir, and a community line up well enough to host a station. He is completing a Master’s in Geomatics and Geoinformation Engineering at the University of Jaén in Spain, on top of a degree in geodesy from NUACA, with field experience as a surveying engineer on solar projects in Armenia and as a GIS analyst in Spain. His toolkit runs from ArcGIS and QGIS to satellite data processing and EPANET water-network modeling — and he works in five languages. The youngest member of the team, and proof of HOVAK’s thesis that Armenian engineering talent competes anywhere.
